The Church Windows

The Church Windows: A Testament of Faith

In 1989, the need to replace the sanctuary windows of our church became evident. Within just two weeks, generous pledges from our congregation made it possible to replace the old windows with beautiful stained glass artwork.

A dedicated committee worked with the Texas Art Glass Company of Houston to bring these windows to life. Members of the committee included:

  • Billy McCoy
  • Phyllis McCoy
  • Keith Polinkas
  • Bertha Salmans
  • Lila Stephenson
  • Bruce Story
  • Rev. Stixrud

Each window was carefully designed to represent a section of the Apostle’s Creed, creating a powerful visual statement of Presbyterian beliefs.

Window Dedication Ceremony

The dedication of these magnificent windows was held on Sunday, October 28, 1990, accompanied by a special organ recital. Since then, these windows have become a source of inspiration, reflecting the core beliefs of our faith.
